The Client

A native of Houston, Dr. B.L. Remedios has had a successful private practice in oral and maxillofacial surgery since 1988. Medical Center Oral Surgery offers various services in oral and maxillofacial surgery and is committed to providing the best in personal patient care in a comfortable and efficient environment.

The Challenge

Dr. B.L. Remedios wanted to enhance his social presence,primarily on Facebook, to better foster relationships with his patient community. Because managing social media requires so much time and attention,the office needed a consistent method of keeping the Facebook page updated.

The Solution

I design and write copy for four Facebook posts a month. Each post is strategically designed to educate, inform, inspire, or simply reflect the culture of Medical Center Oral Surgery to engage with and create a dialogue with patients beyond the office. After extensive research on Dr. B.L. Remedios’ audience, I was able to determine the most effective times to post these updates, gaining the most impressions possible. An average of four posts a month (one a week) are scheduled to keep a consistent social presence.
